GET TO KNOW MADDY MADISON AND THE QUILTERS CLUB . . .

. . . AND DISCOVER THE SMALL MIDWESTERN TOWN THEY CALL HOME.

(THERE ARE LOTS OF MYSTERIES TO SOLVE HERE.)

Welcome to the small northeastern Indiana town of Caruthers Corners, population about 3,000.
This is the home of the Quilters Club, a group of quilters whose members sometimes get drawn into
puzzling local mysteries. You might call them amateur detectives.

The four friends – Maddy Madison, Cookie Bentley, Bootsie Purdue, and Lizzie Ridenour – have lived in Caruthers Corners practically all their lives. They love this little town and its history and the mysteries they uncover while sewing beautiful patchwork quilts.

Here you can meet them … and tour Caruthers Corners, a picturesque little hamlet tucked away on the Wabash River.

For a small nothing-ever-happens-here midwestern town, our gals have encountered lots of odd mysteries: Patchwork quilts stuffed with rare “watermelon dollars,” Viking treasures, Lost Boys who turned up 30 years later, hidden gold, the Beasley ghost, missing statues of Town Founders, UFOs, hits by the Indy Mob, magic acts that bring back the dead, a mad scientist who tried to poison the town’s water supply, thieves who stole Capt. Percival Perricock’s antediluvian fossil collection, false family trees and fake adoption agencies, scary witches, Potawatomi Indians, Russian spies, and phony historic quilts that needed exposing.

Can you keep up with the sleuthing of these four middle-aged women? We will find out
in good time. But by any measure, you’ll discover these mysteries to be good, satisfying reads.

Now let’s introduce you to Maddy and her fellow detectives . . .
